Hailing from Southeast Kansas, four friends since childhood officially formed a band in August 2019 when Alex Moore (bass, guitar, vocals), Jared Chastain (guitar), Zakk Lumm (drums), and Traci Lumm (lead vocals - Yes, They're married) decided to try their hand at a cover band after many years of Jared, Zakk, and Alex playing in metal bands. What came next was their most successful musical project yet, Traci and the Time Travelers, a band known for their diverse musical range.
Traci and the Time Travelers offer an eclectic sound that spans from the 1960s to today, putting their unique flair on covers. Their setlist includes hits and deep cuts from artists such as Jimi Hendrix, CCR, Hall and Oates, Fleetwood Mac, Chris Stapleton, and Dua Lipa, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. Drawing inspiration from their fathers' musical backgrounds, the band blends various styles and genres to create a classic yet unique experience.
Their accolades include being featured on the cover along with an article in an issue of A*Muse Magazine* and being awarded "Best Local Band" and "Best Local Musician" for 2025 & 2026 by the *Independence Daily Reporter*. They have performed at numerous stages and events across the four state area.
Traci and the Time Travelers are a self-sufficient package deal, equipped with their own PA system and ready to entertain.
